About Me

I am a fully qualified and BACP Accredited psychodynamic therapist working with adults, young adults and couples in Christchurch, Bournemouth and online across the UK.

Over the years I have worked with people experiencing a wide range of emotional and relational difficulties, including anxiety, panic attacks, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, bereavement, low self-esteem, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, eating disorders, and experiences of emotional, physical or sexual abuse.

I understand how difficult it can feel to talk about painful or overwhelming experiences, particularly when you have spent a long time coping alone or feeling misunderstood. My aim is to offer a calm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you feel safe enough to explore whatever may be troubling you, at a pace that feels manageable.

Alongside my private practice, I have also worked with Frontline19, offering trauma-informed support and crisis management sessions to frontline healthcare workers. This work has deepened my understanding of stress, trauma, burnout, emotional overwhelm and the impact of working in high-pressure environments.

I have experience working in both open-ended and time-limited therapy and understand that each person’s needs, circumstances and therapeutic journey will be different.

Alongside my clinical work, I will also be beginning training in clinical supervision from 2026, further developing my interest in supporting reflective, relational and trauma-informed practice within the counselling profession.

I also have a developing professional interest in EMDR and trauma-focused approaches, which complement my existing relational and psychodynamic way of working.
